Christmas at Gramma and Granddad's

We arrived at Gramma and Granddad's house just in time for brunch. Then we opened presents, stockings, and played "Dirty Santa". We had a delicious dinner and ended with Jesus' birthday cake for dessert.

Ooh! I like this bow!

I'll pick up the trash!

Isn't this a step stool?

Adam is chasing his remote control car and can't figure why it keeps moving away from him.

I love books. Thanks Nana!

I got a Slinky!

Are you relaxed Aunt Emily and Uncle Joe? What's in those stockings?

No, not my nose, Aunt Jamie!

I'll help you open those presents, Gramma.

Look, at my new guitar. I'll play a song for you!

We can play this together, Jackson.

Forget presents. Let me show you some tricks.

What did you get Jamie?

This isn't breakable is it?

It's a hat Granddad!

Ooh! Mommy doesn't let me touch her ornaments. Yours are very nice Gramma.

We got a chicken! Thanks for picking the chicken Daddy!

Is that a digital PHOTO ALBUM?

Mmm... That cookie was good. And so were the mashed potatoes and ham and bread and...

What Did Santa Bring?

Ooh! Look at all the balls!

I'm ready to drive Daddy!

Was the Wii for Kevin or Jackson?

STRIKE! (Well, almost.)

Christmas Eve

After the Faircloth's left, we went to our church's Christmas Eve candlelight service. Jackson sang with the children's choir, and Adam loved playing with the candles. Then we came home and opened... MORE PRESENTS! Jackson gave each one of us a thank you hug after every gift he opened. Adam finally got the hang of opening presents. He went looking for more under the tree once he finished with his.

I told Adam to go sit with his presents so I could get a picture. He sat ON his presents instead.

Thanks for the box Aunt Jamie and Uncle Roger- oh and the bean bag!

Jackson had to get in the box too!

Look! I got a penguin, too!

Don't bother me while I am doodling.

Jackson was trying to be a Jack-in-the box.

Adam is playing with his new dump truck and Jackson's monster trucks that Adam gave him for Christmas.

Jackson is playing with his new motorcycle. It came with Motorcross tickets for him and a friend.

Christmas Eve with the Faircloth's

Jan, Jackie, Aunt Kara, Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jeanne came to our house today. We ate a yummy lunch, played Dirty Santa and enjoyed each other's company.

Get it out for me Aunt Jeanne!

Look Papa Jack, I got a helicopter too!

I'll help you get it open, Jackson.

I love my new tricycle!

Jackson kept finding more presents to open.

I'll play air hockey with you.

Hurry Aunt Kara. We want to play!

It wouldn't be Cristmas without a family picture.

Trip to Ride on The Polar Express

We went to Bryson City, NC to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. We rode the train to the North Pole where we picked up Santa. On the way we enjoyed hot chocolate, reading the story, The Polar Express, and singing songs.

Jackson is sitting in front of the Polar Express sign. The train we rode is in the background.

One of the chefs on our car took our picture as soon as we got on the train.

What! You mean I have to sit down for this train ride?

Tickets, please. Tickets! I need to punch your ticket!

Santa is giving Jackson a special bell.

Adam wasn't too fond of the old guy. Kevin stuck him in front of Santa for a quick picture of the three of them.

Jackson volunteered to help sing the last two songs.
