Jackson and Adam's Birthday Celebration

We went to the Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC to celebrate Jackson and Adam's birthday with everyone. It was also Roger's birthday, too. Maybe he won't have to always share it with the little guys. We had hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch and then enjoyed visiting the amenities in the park.

WAY too many presents!

Look, I'm 9 today!

We rode the train, the carousel, and visited the zoo.

I think Adam enjoyed the box as much as he did the lawn mower. Notice the cut on his forehead? He fell on the sidewalk coming inside.

Adam's 2nd Birthday

For Adam's second birthday, we went to eat at the Blue Ribbon Diner. We came home and quickly opened his presents. He shared his cake with us a few days later because Kevin had to rush out to a church softball game.

Bubbles!

Adam got a new pair of sunglasses that he loves to wear everywhere except when he's out in the sun. Go figure!

Kindergarten Reflections

The kindergarten classes at Smith Elementary reflect on all that they have learned during the year. They share this with the parents by presenting songs and mini plays at the end of the year.

Jackson is waiting his turn to speak.

Jackson was a duck in the play. He sang "Six Little Ducks" and marched around the stage.

Jackson's 6th Birthday

Jackson celebrated his birthday with friends at the Maynard Aquatic Center, an indoor swimming pool. The children swam, ate pizza, and had yummy Wall-E cupcakes.

On his actual birthday we went to eat at Ruby Tuesdays then came home to open presents and eat cake.Jackson sporting his scuba gear. He got flippers, too!

Eggs Anyone?

I guess I wasn't fast enough at making sandwiches. Adam decided to help himself to some eggs. (He's naked because his clothes were all wet from playing in the water.)

Cooling Off

It was hot on Saturday so I set up the water table for Adam. Of course, Jackson had to come and play, too. Adam was thrilled to play in the water with the boats. He started pouring water all over Jackson. It upset Jackson at first but then he realized it was OK and he could throw water, too.

Adam still sticks his tongue out when he concentrates.

Last Soccer Game

Jackson's last soccer game was on Saturday. Here a few shots from the game.
