Easter Egg Hunt

Our church hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday. Adam knew exactly what to do. He did start taking the eggs out of his basket once he got a few in there. The highlight of the day for him was finding an egg that looked like a football. He was calling all the eggs balls anyway, so it worked out perfectly!

No Maggie, let me get the ones over here!

Trip to Hilton Head, SC

Jackson and I had a long weekend due to a teacher workday, so we headed to Hilton Head, SC with the Faircloth's. We went to a children's museum on the island. The boys had tons of fun playing with all the stuff there.

The next day was a nice warm day, so we spent some time that morning on the beach.

On the way back to the house, we stopped at a park to play.

Adam sat down in Jackson's lap so Jackson started to read his book to him.

Surprise!

We were quite surprised when we found out. In fact, I think we are still in shock. Another little one will arrive around October 2. You might want to start praying for us now, please.

Allison's Birthday

After going to The Olive Garden for dinner, we came home and enjoyed some birthday cake. I had been to the NCTIES Conference and brought the boys back construction hats. I guess you could say they worked for party hats.

Football Anyone?

Adam usually puts the football helmet on backwards and tries to walk around. He gets so frustrated when he keeps bumping into the furniture, but he won't let you help him turn the helmet around. He actually got it on right on this day.

Relaxing After Dinner

Adam's latest trick is to put his feet up on the table once he's done eating. I guess it is his way of relaxing. On this night, he decided to take his socks off, too. In this picture he is actually trying to put his sock back on. We've since lowered his booster seat, so he now has a little trouble getting his little piggies on the table.
